
I provide brief to midterm solutions-based therapy, taking an eclectic approach that is tailored to the individual needs of the client. The skills and techniques I draw on include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Psychodynamic Theory, Play Therapy and most often, Brain Working Recursive Therapy (BWRT) or Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT).

A positive and effective therapeutic journey relies heavily on the right “fit” between therapist and client. Initial sessions serve as an assessment and where it is felt that a more appropriate fit would better serve a client, recommendations for an alternative therapist will be made. Equally, where a client’s needs fall outside my scope of practice, a referral to an appropriately specialised professional will be made.
